Job summary

ACTIA Corporation in Romulus, Michigan is seeking a machine operator for 1st shift work from Monday to Thursday. 1st Shift: Mon – Thur 5 am – 3:30 pm

Job Duties / Responsibilities

Operate the machine, which includes understanding the sequence of events, the control panel and indicators, and understand how to replenish supplies and components per Standard Operating Procedures.

• Set-up of the machine, machine adjustments and ability to perform feeder loading and changing per the manufacturing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
• General machine cleaning and upkeep per the Standard Operating Procedures
• Other duties as assigned.
• Support Quality and Environmental Objectives

Position Qualifications

• Procedure for control of solder paste
• General Instructions for handling and processing PCB’s
• Production output per customer requirements
• Component identification
• Understand safety and personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements of the area
• Basic understanding of non-conforming materials (NCM)

Language Skills

• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English. Be able to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings and specification sheets, and procedure manuals.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
