Pro-Active Engineering Job Opportunity

Pro-Active Engineering, located in Sun Prairie, WI, provides quality electronic design and manufacturing solutions for industrial, medical, commercial, and military applications. We foster a casual, family-type environment with a team of motivated, positive-thinking, knowledge-sharing, and productive technical team members.

We have an immediate opening for individuals familiar with Surface Mount (SMT) machines. We offer opportunities for both 1st and 2nd shifts. Top pay is available for qualified candidates.

Essential Functions

1. Read and follow production documents to fully understand the project at hand.
2. Prepare boards, mask, glue, and program the screen-printer.
3. Load feeders and magazines to ensure machine optimization.
4. Verify component and manufacturing part number accuracy against the B.O.M.
5. Evaluate components for conformance and sufficient quantity.
6. Prepare Thru-Hole components as needed.
7. Coordinate with SMT Lead to meet schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience with Mydata, Mycronic, and ASM software is preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
