Pro-Active Engineering, located in Sun Prairie, WI, provides quality electronic design and manufacturing solutions for industrial, medical, commercial, and military applications. We foster a casual, family-like environment with a team of motivated, positive, knowledge-sharing, and productive technical members. We have an immediate opening for individuals familiar with Surface Mount (SMT) machines, with opportunities for both 1st and 2nd shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Reading and following production documents to understand projects.
• Preparing boards, masks, glues, and programming screen-printers.
• Loading feeders and magazines to optimize machine performance.
• Verifying component and manufacturing part number accuracy against B.O.M.
• Evaluating components for conformance and quantity.
• Preparing Thru-Hole components as needed.
• Coordinating with SMT Lead to meet schedule requirements.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED); Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience with Mydata, Mycronic, and ASM software preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and excellent attendance.
