Job description

Pro-Active Engineering, located in Sun Prairie, WI, provides quality electronic design and manufacturing solutions for industrial, medical, commercial, and military applications. We foster a casual, family-type environment with a team of motivated, positive thinking, knowledge-sharing, and productive technical team members.



We have an immediate opening for an individual with familiarity with Surface Mount (SMT) machines to prep and load printed circuit boards and feeders. Top pay for qualified candidates.



Essential Functions

Adhere to the company's ISO Quality Management System.

Read and follow production documents to fully understand the project at hand.

Prep boards, mask, glue, and program screen-printer.

Load feeders and magazines to ensure machine optimization.

Verify component and manufacturing part number accuracy against B.O.M.

Evaluate components for conformance and sufficient quantity.

Prep Thru-Hole components as needed.

Coordinate with SMT Lead to meet schedule requirements.



Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.

Mydata, Mycronic, and ASM software experience preferred.

Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
