Job summary

Dover Corporation's Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero in West Chester, OH is hiring an Assembler specialized in SMT and AOI. You will solder, inspect, and assemble high-precision microcircuits on printed circuit boards to IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards, while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of soldering experience (THT/SMT), can read drawings, and adapt to engineering changes. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• US person required (citizen or green card holder).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years of soldering experience with THT and SMT hand soldering.
• Experience with high thermal mass boards is a plus.
• Familiarity with IPC-610 or J-STD expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and rework microcircuits with microscopes and soldering tools.
• Record activity in a database using scanner/keyboard.
• Set up, load programs and run AOI to inspect SMT parts.
• Review AOI results and rework defects as needed.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, guidelines, and parts lists.
