Job summary

General Equipment & Supplies is seeking a Smart Construction Solutions Expert to monitor, adjust, train, and optimize telematics and machine control for customers. You will coordinate with PSSR’s and Salesmen to promote products/services and help customers control costs with innovative ideas and strong leadership.

You will be the coordinator for the intelligent machine control support strategy, working across service, sales, and customer sites to keep updates, calibrations, and campaigns on

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or 2-year degree with relevant work experience in Construction Machinery, Construction Management, Project Management or Business Management.
• Must have strong customer service orientation and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with a positive attitude and coachability.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate and position check new machines within spec.
• Coordinate calibration time for machines in for repair with the Service Department.
• Calibrate and position check used machines in yard or shop.
• Schedule machine updates with customers.
• Complete field or shop updates and ensure timely communication with customers.
• Monitor factory campaigns related to GPS/machine control components.
• Assist customers in setting up job sites and machines on site.
• Engage with sales personnel to promote solutions and drive customer cost savings.

SUMMARY:The Smart Construction Solutions Expert will monitor, adjust, train, and fully optimize telematics systems employed by manufacturers of General Equipment & Supplies with respect to the promotion of Parts & Service. This person will work with PSSR’s & Salesmen to promote General Equipment & Supplies products/services, while helping the customer control their costs through innovative ideas, prompt follow through, and strong leadership. Will serve as the coordinator for the intelligent machine control support strategy.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Smart Construction Tasks:Set up, calibrate and position check new machines within specWork with the Service Department on intelligent machines that are in for repair and coordinate calibration timeCalibrate and position check all used machines that come into the yard, verify they are with in specAssist the Service Department on diagnosis and repairs of GPS/Machine control itemsSchedule machine updates with customersComplete machine updates in the field or the shopWatch for factory campaigns related to GPS/machine control componentsHelp customers set up job sites as well as machines up on sitePerform Smart Construction Experiences with salesman and customersIdentify customer emergencies and manage priorities accordinglyRequired Skills:Must share our Core Values: Do the Right Thing, Be Curious, Have Passion, and Be InnovativeQualified candidate will have a 4-year degree or a 2-year degree with work experience.
