Job summary

B Wichita site is seeking a Sheet Metal Router operator to run Multicam systems for aluminum parts per customer drawings. You will load machines, verify material specs, and ensure holes and profiles match blueprints with precision.

The ideal candidate has at least two years' aerospace SMR experience, can read blueprints, use calipers and other precision tools, and follow safety protocols. This role demands reliability, strong communication, and a detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience operating a Sheet Metal Router (SMR), preferably Multicam, in an aerospace setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and decipher drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools and precision measuring tools; calibrate new tools.
• Familiar with safety standards and PPE used in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sheet Metal Router (SMR) to exact specifications per drawings.
• Load machines with work pieces and verify material specifications.
• Validate profile and pilot holes per customer drawings.
• Check accuracy of jobs and workmanship during production.
• Sharpen and replace worn tools; troubleshoot processes and detect malfunctions.
• Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Meet production goals for cycle time, quantity, and quality.
