Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Operate the cash register and process payments (cash, checks, credit cards, coupons, etc.).
• Count back change and issue receipts or refunds as needed.
• Comply with WIC, food stamps, tobacco, liquor, and lottery guidelines.
• Stock, tag, and rotate merchandise; assist customers to items and lookups.
• Keep the register area neat and report any cash discrepancies.
• Assist with displays and promotions and help in other store areas as needed.
• Maintain personal hygiene, dress standards, and store guidelines; arrive on time.
