Qualifications

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the register and greeting customers by name when possible.
• Accurately process payments (cash, checks, cards, coupons) and issue receipts.
• Maintain clean, stocked areas and assist with dining/service areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and deliver a positive interaction.
• Operate POS system and handle multiple payment types accurately.
• Count back change and issue receipts; bag merchandise securely.
• Keep coffee service area stocked and maintain sanitation throughout shift.
• Assist in bussing tables and running orders to dining areas when required.
• Adhere to Hy-Vee policies and personal hygiene standards.
• Report to work as scheduled and stay on time.
