Job summary

Linxon is seeking a Subject Matter Expert, Secondary Engineering, to lead and execute protection, control, SCADA, and substation automation across AIS, GIS, BESS, rail, data centers, and wind projects in Puerto Rico. You will work with Project Leads, BIM, and Primary Engineers under the Engineering Manager, driving technical excellence and customer trust.

On-site, you will evolve into leadership roles within 3–5 years, contributing to high‑impact infrastructure initiatives and ensuring

Qualifications

• PE certification required.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Exposure to ETAP and SEL tools; CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/MicroStation).

Responsibilities

• Lead secondary engineering for AIS/GIS, BESS, Rail, Data Center, and Wind projects.
• Develop specs, BOMs, and coordinated designs for procurement and construction.
• Resolve vendor bids and design issues for compliant, cost-effective solutions.
• Provide protection, control, SCADA, and automation guidance to improve performance.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and project teams to address challenges.
• Review designs, support testing, and ensure construction-ready deliverables.
