Job summary

Malama Kai Technologies seeks a Key Personnel SME Cyber Operations Planner to support cyberspace operations planning and integration for a sensitive DoD/IC program. You will provide planning, synchronization, and operational integration for cyberspace operations, and develop cyber courses of action while driving capability pairing assessments and lessons learned to advance TTPs.

Qualifications

• At least 20 years of progressive cyber experience.

Job description

Malama Kai Technologies is seeking a Key Personnel SME Cyber Operations Planner to support cyberspace operations planning and integration for a sensitive Department of Defense or Intelligence Community program. In this role you will provide planning, synchronization, and operational integration for cyberspace operations, synthesize cyber capabilities into broader multi-domain operational designs, and develop cyber courses of action. You will conduct capability pairing assessments that match tools, accesses, and delivery mechanisms to desired effects, and capture lessons learned that advance tradecraft.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide critical planning, synchronization, and operational integration support for cyberspace operations.
• Synthesize cyberspace operations capabilities into broader multi-domain operational designs.
• Conduct technical cyber capability pairing assessments to determine the most effective cyber tools, accesses, and delivery mechanisms required to achieve desired effects.
• Apply cyber operational planning methodologies to develop cyber courses of action.
• Capture operational lessons learned, draft post-mission reports, and contribute to the advancement of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Minimum Qualifications

• At least twenty (20) years of progressive, professional experience in offensive and/or defensive cyber activities
• Ten (10) years of professional experience must pertain specifically to cyber labor category, while the remaining experience must pertain to a related cyber or information assurance labor category
• Ability to comprehensively support tasks as they pertain to cyber operations planning and integration.
• Knowledge of Title 10 and Title 50 authorities for cyberspace operations and their associated approval processes.
• Perform all functional duties independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle complex and highly detailed responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more of the following certifications: OSCP, CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or GPEN
• Active US military duty/intelligence experience.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science, STEM or a related field
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a master's degree (for SME with required MA/MS, would require a bachelor's degree and 25 or more years of experience).

Security Clearance

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for that clearance level.

Citizenship

• US Citizenship required.

Travel

• Within the NCR as needed, less than 10%

Work Location and Environment

• This role is on site daily at a government facility located at Fort Washington, MD.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $185,000 - $200,000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role. Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, clearance level, contract requirements, and work location.
