Job summary

Malama Kai Technologies seeks a Key Personnel Program Analyst to support U.S. national security objectives by strengthening the Nation's position in the global intelligence environment. You will improve situational awareness and inform senior leaders while aiding defense program management.

This role is on site daily at a government facility in Fort Washington, MD. Expect collaboration with government and contractor teams, rigorous document work, and active participation in acquisition and PPBE

Qualifications

• At least eight years of program, project, or financial analysis experience supporting a DoD PMO or major federal program.
• Direct experience with the DoD acquisition lifecycle and policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting to executives and customers.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and prioritize effectively.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance.

This Key Personnel Program Analyst role supports U.S. national security objectives by strengthening the Nation's position in the global intelligence environment. As a Program Analyst, you will improve situational awareness, help inform senior leaders, and strengthen the Department of Defense's ability to anticipate, assess, and respond to emerging threats. You will work alongside a small, fast-moving team that supports a government program management office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide program support across analysis and program management functions.
• Assist Government program managers in planning, executing, and monitoring complex portfolios.
• Draft, review, and coordinate key defense acquisition documents, including acquisition strategies, program protection plans, technology transition plans, and performance work statements.
• Support the customer's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities.
• Maintain program schedules, milestone trackers, action item logs, risk registers, and deliverable status reports under Government direction.
• Compile, review, and summarize programmatic, financial, acquisition, and technical information for briefings, reports, and management reviews.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, read-ahead materials, briefing packages, white papers, and follow-up action summaries for Government review.
• Coordinate with Government, contractor, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, track open actions, and document program status.
• Track cost, schedule, performance, risk, and deliverable data, identify variances or trends, and raise findings for Government consideration.
• Support acquisition and contract activities, including requirements documentation, market research inputs, deliverable tracking, and contractor performance data collection.

• Excellent writing, communication skills with experience presenting to executives and customers

Minimum Qualifications

• At least eight (8) years of progressive professional experience in program, project, or financial analysis supporting a DoD program management office or major federal program.
• Direct experience with the DoD acquisition lifecycle and relevant policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including experience presenting to executives and customers.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle complex and highly detailed responsibilities.
• Experience working collaboratively with others and providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities of varying complexity, adapt to changing priorities, and meet short turnarounds.

Education Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related analytical discipline.
  • We will accept four (4) additional years of related experience in place of the degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. military duty experience.

Citizenship

• US Citizenship required.

Travel

• Within the NCR as needed, less than 10%.

Security Clearance

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for clearance level.

Work Location and Environment

This role is on site daily at a government facility located at Fort Washington, MD.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $115,000 to $140,000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, clearance level, contract requirements, and work location.
