Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Columbus, NE is seeking a SMD Test Pack Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu 3:00 pm–1:30 am). Pack resistors into reels or bulk packages and run packing lines, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One month to three months experience.
• Ability to operate packing machinery and load reels.

Responsibilities

• Turns on packing machine. Places reels, cover tape and carrier tape on machine.
• Receives order form QC or Finished Good Stock.
• Set up computer to packing and testing specifications noted on production card.
• Sets counters and runs out leader tape.
• Operates machine until quantity is packed and winds carrier tape tail.
• Removes finished reel and processes additional quantities if needed.
• Packages orders in bulk packaging where necessary.
• Print PNID labels and bar code labels as required.
