Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE seeks a SMD Test/Pack Operator on 2nd Shift (Mon–Thu, 3:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.). You will pack surface mount resistors into reels or bulk packaging, set up packing and testing specifications, and operate the machines to meet production quotas.

(Monday – Thursday) from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Overtime is available as needed.**Job Summary:**Packing Surface Mount resistors into reels or bulk packages including any of the following product types – WSL, WSLM, WSK, WSC, WSF, and WSH product types.**Job Location:**Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.**What you will be doing:*** Turns on packing machine. Places reels, cover tape and carrier tape on machine.* Receives order form QC or Finished Good Stock.* Set up computer to packing and testing specifications noted on production card. Set counters. Run out leader tape.* Places resistors into syntron bowl (Test pack or Tokyo Weld machines) or load resistor sticks to table (stick to tape machines). Starts machine by pressing keyboard button.* Operates machine until quantity desired is packed. Runs out carrier tape tail to wind around end of reel.* Removes finished reel from machine.
