Job Summary

Position: TW Test Pack Operator 1st Shift (Monday – Thursday) from 4:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Overtime available as needed. Responsible for packing Surface Mount resistors into reels or bulk packages (WSL, WSLM, WSK, WSC, WSF, and WSH product types).

Job Location

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE. Part of one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e‑beam technology, with around 600 employees.

Responsibilities

• Turn on packing machine, place reels, cover tape, and carrier tape.
• Receive order form, QC, or finished good stock.
• Set up computer for packing and testing specifications noted on the production card and set counters.
• Run out leader tape.
• Place resistors into Syntron bowl (Test pack or Tokyo Weld machines) or load resistor sticks to table for stick‑to‑tape machines; start machine using the keyboard button.
• Operate machine until the desired quantity is packed; run out carrier tape tail to wind around the end of the reel.
• Remove finished reel from the machine; if the order quantity exceeds reel capacity, repeat prior procedures.
• Package orders in bulk packaging when necessary.
• Print PNID labels and barcode labels as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three months of experience.
