Job summary

RTX Telecom A/S is seeking an Operator - SMD in Roswell, GA to run the automated Pick & Place SMD line, perform inspections, and coordinate with QA and production teams.

The role requires basic electronics knowledge, ability to read work instructions in English, and willingness to learn other production areas such as testing, assembly, warehouse, and packing. Safety and efficiency are essential.

Responsibilities

• Run the Pick and Place SMD line.
• Load the right components and follow the instructions to get quality products.
• Act immediately if there are any quality issues. Work with QA and Prod Manager to find a solution
• Maintain efficiency level of the machine by avoiding downtime & improving change over process.
• Work towards meeting the cycle time of production and working with the production manager to improve the same.
• Follow the safety norms and ensure safe work environment practices.
• Trouble shooting of basic errors generated by the machine with the support of training by ETK.
• Competence in Electronics Manufacturing (EMS), preferred to have worked in SMD lines in earlier experience. Otherwise, a knowledge and experience to handle machine interface.
• Willingness to learn and work in other areas of production like testing, assembly, warehouse (receiving and picking) and packing.
• Communication in English is required and have knowledge to understand the work instructions.
