Job summary

Ziply Fiber is hiring a Business Sales Account Executive to drive sales in our service areas with a focus on small to mid-size businesses. You will engage through door-to-door outreach, networking, local partnerships, and community events to sign new customers and expand relationships.

You will start with a base salary of $50,000 per year with the potential to advance to about $60,000 within six months after training and meeting performance goals, plus a $40,000 target commission and a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills for professional business settings.
• Demonstrated experience working with people in various settings (customer service, retail, etc.).
• Enthusiastic, persuasive, and resilient—able to handle rejection and stay positive.
• Self-motivated and competitive with a strong drive to achieve goals.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 25%.
• Must pass local background checks and have a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete Ziply Fiber’s New-hire Sales Training.
• Call on many businesses in-person, by email, or phone; present Ziply Fiber services.
• Follow the sales process, including daily door knocking and prospecting to close one new customer per day.
• Participate in local events to attract customers to Ziply Fiber services.
• Travel outside the territory for team sales events up to 25% of working days.
• Engage with Chambers of Commerce and local organizations.
