Tasks in the role
  1. Create, preserve, and grow relationships within a designated book of business through prospecting, sales calls, and rapport-building.
  2. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their business needs and providing additional Semrush Solutions to optimise growth.
  3. Identify and close cross-sell/up-sell opportunities using the Semrush suite of products.
  4. Deliver a value-based selling experience to our customers based on automation and customer behaviour.
  5. Work with a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to ensure high customer retention within your book of business.
  6. Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly activity targets (KPIs), such as number of calls, connections, demos, emails, etc.
  7. Work with a Product Specialist to introduce your book of business to and sell Semrush's newest product offerings.
  8. Efficiently reach out to 100% of your customer portfolio monthly, leaving no stone unturned.
  9. Accurately forecast monthly sales and retention achievements to management.
  10. Contribute feedback to the larger Semrush organization by utilizing strong analytical thinking, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Who we are looking for
  • Account Executive SMB (LATAM Market)
  • Must-have skills
  • Degree in marketing, economics, or an acceptable combination of education & experience.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in B2B software sales: prospecting, qualifying leads, closing deals, creating follow-ups, & exceeding targets.
  • Experience in sales methodologies, BANT qualification, meeting control, account development, & time management.
  • Excellent negotiation skills & knowledge of managing procurement.
  • 1+ year of Martech/SalesTech experience and product marketing strategies, processes, positioning, messaging, sales conversion optimization, etc.
  • Impeccable verbal & written communication, listening, & problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptive, and an agile learner.
  • Independent & success-driven, but a team player.
  • Native Spanish, good command of English.

Nice-to-have skills include Google Suite Knowledge and Slack Software proficiency.

About the team

The team's goal is to generate revenue growth for the company through expanding existing customers in the LATAM Region. We consult, educate, and nurture customers to create upsell opportunities. The Account Executives are divided into segments (SMB, MME), each working towards expansion in their specific segment.
