Job summary

Veridic Solutions is seeking a Software Application Developer to work remotely on enterprise data projects. You will write Python scripts for ETL, query Oracle/Teradata/BigQuery to reconcile large datasets, and build interactive HTML reports using Flask.

You will also develop Smartsheet dashboards and document end-to-end business processes. Required are 2+ years Python, 3+ years SQL, and experience creating lineage diagrams with Visio/Lucidchart.

Qualifications

• Python (intermediate+): pandas, database connectors, data processing scripts.
• Smartsheet: sheet building, cross-sheet formulas, dashboards, and automations.
• SQL (intermediate+): Oracle, Teradata, or BigQuery; joins, aggregations, NULL handling.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and matching across multiple enterprise data sources
• Query Oracle, Teradata, and Google BigQuery databases to pull, reconcile, and validate large datasets
• Build and maintain interactive HTML reports and internal web tools (Flask-based) with sortable/filterable tables
• Develop and maintain Smartsheet sheets, dashboards, automations, and cross‑sheet formulas
• Design and document business process flows - intake‑to‑delivery workflows, data lineage diagrams, and decision trees using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent
• Support ad‑hoc data investigations - identify mismatches, gaps, and anomalies across systems

Must-Have Skills

• Python (intermediate+): pandas, database connectors, data processing scripts - 2+ years
• Smartsheet: sheet building, cross‑sheet formulas, dashboards, and automations - 2+ years
• SQL (intermediate+): comfortable across Oracle, Teradata, or BigQuery; understands joins, aggregations, NULL handling - 3+ years
• Process analyst / Python Developer – Contract documentation: ability to translate complex multi‑system workflows into clear process flow diagrams and written procedures - 2+ years
• Creative problem solving: able to take an ambiguous business question and propose a practical, well‑designed solution - not just execute instructions

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with BPMN or structured process notation
• Experience with large-scale enterprise data (telecom, utilities, logistics, or similar)
• Google BigQuery / GCP familiarity
• Experience working alongside AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.)
