Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Smartsheet Developer III to work remotely, delivering advanced Smartsheet solutions across the organization. The role requires designing, implementing, and supporting dashboards, WorkApps, and automation, with strong Python and API integration skills.

You will lead development efforts, mentor teammates, and ensure governance, security, and data integrity while collaborating with stakeholders to align automation with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Smartsheet development experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Smartsheet features (Control Center, Data Shuttle, WorkApps, dashboards).
• Strong Python, API integrations, and data transformation skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile project management.
• REST APIs and systems integration understanding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support complex Smartsheet solutions across functions.
• Create dashboards, reports, WorkApps, and automated workflows.
• Develop integrations between Smartsheet and enterprise systems using Python and APIs.
• Lead solution design with limited supervision and guide junior developers.
• Maintain technical docs and ensure governance and security standards.
