Job summary

Vallourec North America is seeking a Field Services Specialist to oversee Smart Run casing operations, ensuring safe site preparation, accurate tagging, and compliant execution on customer projects.

You will supervise 3rd party crews, manage digital tallies, and verify quality across field operations, with heavy travel and strict adherence to procedures and safety standards. A strong background in OCTG services and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in OCTG services (threading, manufacturing, inspection, clean, drift & tally).
• Knowledge of basic computer skills (Excel & Word).
• Ability to read, write and speak English with strong analytical/interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and ability to interpret engineering measuring tapes.
• Willingness to travel frequently domestically and internationally.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Must be able to pass required testing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field operations follow VFS safety, quality, standards and scope of work.
• Supervise 3rd party personnel and verify accurate digital tallying and tagging.
• Assist with pipe preparation, re-tagging and data matrix tagging.
• Perform routine quality checks at the Mill and ensure length accuracy.
• Maintain and update records of testing, training and safety certifications.
• Be on-call as required and adhere to company policies and procedures.
