Bright Minds is searching for an experienced Solutions Consultant specializing in Smart Manufacturing, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and industrial digital transformation technologies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for manufacturing innovation, industrial automation, and software solutions that improve productivity, operational visibility, and efficiency. This customer-facing role combines consultative selling, solution development, and strategic account relationships. You'll partner with account managers and technical teams to identify manufacturing challenges, develop technology-driven solutions, and build long-term customer partnerships.

Please note: A hands-on engineering, programming, or IT background is NOT required. Candidates with consulting, sales, or account management experience in Smart Manufacturing, industrial automation, manufacturing software, or digital transformation will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with account managers to identify and develop Smart Manufacturing and industrial digital transformation opportunities.
• Meet with manufacturing clients to understand operational challenges, identify opportunities, and recommend technology-driven solutions.
• Lead customer discovery meetings, site assessments, and discussions involving MES, industrial automation, connectivity, and manufacturing software.
• Develop and present solution concepts, technology roadmaps, and business cases demonstrating operational improvements and ROI.
• Build relationships with engineering, IT, operations, plant leadership, and executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams on solution development, proposals, customer presentations, and strategic account initiatives.

Desired Experience

• 5+ years of consulting, technical sales, account management, or business development experience involving Smart Manufacturing, MES, industrial automation, manufacturing software, or digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, industrial technologies, and opportunities to improve operational performance.
• Experience developing customer relationships, leading discovery discussions, and identifying technology-driven business opportunities.
• Ability to translate manufacturing challenges into practical solutions and communicate business value, ROI, and operational impact.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to travel locally to customer facilities throughout Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky.

Nice-to-Have Experience (Not Required)

• MES, IIoT, SCADA, industrial networking, manufacturing analytics, cloud/edge connectivity, or connected worker technologies.
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Ignition, AVEVA, PTC, Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
• Experience with digital transformation roadmaps, manufacturing modernization, or industrial technology assessments.
• Experience supporting food and beverage, automotive, life sciences, consumer products, or other manufacturing industries.
• Related bachelor's degree or experience with consultative selling methodologies.
