Job summary

Reply seeks an Industry 4.0 Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of smart manufacturing systems. You will integrate IoT, automation, data analytics, AI, and cyber-physical systems to boost efficiency and innovation.

The role requires a strong technical background, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. US citizenship or green card is required by clients; bachelor’s in a related field and 3–5 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

  • Requires US citizenship or green card as per client requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering with focus on Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Proficiency with IoT platforms (MQTT, OPC UA) and industrial communication protocols.
  • Experience with automation tools (PLC programming, HMI, MES, SCADA).
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools (Python, SQL) and basic machine learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and digital twin tech.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles for industrial systems.
  • Industry 4.0 or IoT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Industry 4.0 solutions, including IoT devices and automation systems.
  • Develop and deploy data analytics platforms to monitor real-time performance and predictive maintenance.
  • Analyze processes and recommend improvements using Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Collaborate with AI, IT, operations and engineering teams to align initiatives with business goals.
  • Provide training to staff on new systems and technologies.
  • Stay updated on Industry 4.0 trends to drive continuous improvement.
