Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op in Cornelia, GA for the Spring 2027 term. The role runs 40 hours per week and offers hands-on experience in adhesives, polymer resins, and more at Ethicon Global Tech Ops.

Eight vacancies are available; housing stipend is provided based on eligibility. The Co-Op spans January to May 2027, with opportunities to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to site operations.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields.
GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
Must be available for the January–May 2027 term.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including pivot tables and graphs.
Experience with CAD, Tableau, Power BI, or Minitab is preferred.
Interest in automation/controls (PLC/DCS) and MES is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in solving chemical, electrical, and mechanical problems on site operations.
Document with test protocols, final reports, and meeting minutes.
Collaborate with Senior Engineers on continuous improvement projects.
Deliver end-of-term presentations to site management and participate in Credo volunteer activities.
