Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is looking for Field Service Technician/Professional to install cutting-edge smart home technology while actively identifying and selling upgraded solutions at customer sites. You will represent the company and ensure total peace of mind for homeowners.

We offer a competitive hourly base pay plus uncapped commissions, paid training, and a 4/10 schedule with Saturdays. A company vehicle, tools, and licensing support are provided.

Qualifications

• A Sales Mindset: Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Customer First Attitude: Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical Aptitude: Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Benefiting from consistent coaching and leadership training to move up within our national organization.
