Job summary
Rently, Inc. is seeking a Product Quality Technician to support engineering across our smart home product line.
You will ensure quality and reliability of hardware and services through incoming quality control checks and comprehensive test plans, gaining hands-on experience with the latest IoT devices in real estate and rental spaces. You'll work with hardware and software teams to test prototypes and certified products, assist Operations with orders, and record results to drive future
Qualifications
- Proven experience with computers and smart devices.
- Hands-on experience with precision tools in electronics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Basic familiarity with graphic design or editing software.
- Strong attention to detail in hardware/software contexts.
- Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming quality control checks to meet standards.
- Execute detailed test plans for smart home devices and software.
- Coordinate with hardware and software teams to test prototypes and products.
- Assist Operations with accurate orders and timely delivery.
- Use precision tools to inspect and repair consumer electronics as needed.
- Record testing results and quality findings for product improvements.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
