Job summary

Daisy is seeking an AV Installation & Service Technician for our North Jersey team based in Ho-Ho-Kus. You will install and support smart home systems in clients' homes and in our shop, delivering seamless lighting, shades, audio, video, and security.

This hands-on, customer-facing role emphasizes quality and trust, with Daisy representatives building relationships and ensuring systems work reliably. Travel to client sites is required; you will work with senior techs and document progress in

Qualifications

2-3 years in AV, networking, or technology integration.
Customer-first attitude representing Daisy in clients' homes.
Strong troubleshooting skills and judgement to escalate when needed.
Motivated to learn new technologies and processes.
Leadership skills to lead and motivate others.
Pass drug screen and background check.
Valid NJ Real ID driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, attics, crawl spaces.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot smart home systems (lighting, shades, audio/video, networking, security).
Diagnose on-site issues independently or with senior techs or project leads.
Travel to client homes for installs and service; maintain tools and vehicle in good order.
Explain system operation clearly to clients and other professionals on-site.
Document progress, materials used, and time in Dynamics Portal.
