Nucor Corporation, through its Rytec Corporation division, seeks a Smart Factory Operator I in Hartford, WI to operate and maintain Trumpf Bend Cell equipment and related tooling. The role includes programming, time studies, prototypes, and supporting production with machine operation and maintenance.

You will inspect parts, manage files and revisions, and work to improve safety, efficiency, yields, and costs. A strong attention to detail and the ability to follow SOPs is essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to interact with employees and departments.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the Trumpf equipment and other machinery used in the production process or assist other machine operators.
• Create and edit laser cut files with Boost and prepare, lay out and array parts from the cut files in the software for optimal engraving and cutting speeds and yield.
• Cut and punch parts to specifications and the proper order according to scheduling.
• Maintain and manage files to ensure matching revision levels at all times.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
• Inspect finished parts to uphold quality standards.
• Support production team and resolve product quality issues.
• Review weekly work schedule to ensure on-time delivery and identify delays.
