Job summary

RSI Group (SmartCap) in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Bend Cell Operator to join our production team. This role operates robotic or manual bend/brake machines, ensuring high-quality parts production and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will read blueprints and manufacturing routings, plan operation sequences for precision, perform set-ups and calibration, and verify quality through inspections and reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing or metalworking environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production reporting (preferred).
• Proficient in measuring tools such as calipers and protractors (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate, program, and maintain bend/brake machines, charting performance and administering routine checks/maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing routings.
• Plan sequences of operation to achieve optimal precision and tolerances.
• Verify product quality through inspections, measurements, and reports.
• Prepare raw materials for production, ensuring material quality prior to production sequence.
• Perform machine set-ups, calibration, and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow and enforce safety regulations per Health & Safety Manual.
• Support process improvements and product quality initiatives.
• Perform additional work-related duties as assigned.
