Nucor Corporation in Hartford, WI is seeking a Smart Factory Operator I to run and maintain the Trumpf 2100 TruBend Press Brake and related equipment for door and parts production. You will also perform parts analysis for producibility and time studies, plus sample parts and prototypes, while supporting the production team.

The role requires the ability to read blueprints, maintain records, and perform inspections to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule of Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am.
• High attention to detail and accuracy for problem analysis and solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on proper phone etiquette.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Trumpf TruBend Press Brake equipment and other machinery in the production process.
• Form parts to specifications and according to scheduling.
• Maintain revision-level documents and ensure accuracy of records.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
• Inspect finished parts and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with management to resolve any product quality issues during production.
