Job summary

RTX invites students to join a Factory Enablement Co‑op, gaining hands‑on experience in modernizing aerospace manufacturing through digital tools and smart factory concepts. You will learn from engineers, prototype solutions, and help scale pilot projects across manufacturing sites.

You’ll explore AI, IoT, CMMS/RTLS, and data workflows while collaborating with DT/IT, EHS, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to translate needs into digital requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related STEM field and actively enrolled through the internship/co‑op session.
• Experience with modern technologies such as Python, Power BI, IoT systems (Ignition, Kepware, etc), automation, or industrial software (MES, ERP, PLM).
• Experience working with data—cleaning, organizing, visualizing, or interpreting it.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy digital tools to modernize aerospace manufacturing.
• Work with a digital team to prototype and deploy solutions for factories.
• Assist with data collection, documentation, and scaling pilot projects.
