Job summary

Siemens Building Automation internship in the San Diego area offers a 10-week, full-time exposure to Building Automation Solutions and Service Sales teams. You will rotate through core segments, assist with lead generation, CRM management, and prepare sales presentations and proposals.

As an undergraduate student, you will collaborate with Sales Managers and cross-functional teams to support customers, develop value-based proposals, and learn sales techniques in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing with a strong technical engineering aptitude.
• Participation in a school sponsored sales engineering club/organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Sales Managers and Sales Executives within the local branch office.
• Assist the sales team with lead generation, prospecting, and account outreach.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
• Help manage CRM data by tracking leads and maintaining data accuracy.
• Shadows sales calls and meetings to learn effective sales techniques.
• Collaborate with operations and other teams to support customer engagement.
• Analyze sales performance data and provide insights into growth.
• Participate in sales related activities and rotate through core segments: Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, Security and Energy/Sustainability Systems.
