Job summary

Siemens invites undergraduates to join the Building Automation Service Sales Internship in Summer 2027. You’ll rotate through local branches focusing on smart buildings, with real-world sales activities, client engagement, and hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing relevant engineering or business majors, available for a 10-week program, and ready to work full-time at the Minneapolis area office.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Majors include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing with strong technical aptitude.
• Availability: 40 hours per week for a 10-week program (May - July or June - August).
• Relocation not provided; must work at the branch office in the MSP area.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Sales Managers and Sales Executives within the local branch office.
• Assist the sales team with lead generation, prospecting, and account outreach.
• Support preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
• Help manage CRM data by tracking leads and maintaining data accuracy.
• Shadow sales calls and meetings to learn effective sales techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer engagement.
• Analyze sales performance data and provide insights into growth.
