Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Building IT Engineer in Houston to define architecture across building networks, cybersecurity, and connected systems. You will not configure devices hands-on, but guide engineers at edge and distribution layers with governance and standards.

We expect 10–12+ years in OT/IT infrastructure in real estate or multi-site environments, with 5+ years coordinating across vendors and owners. Schedule: 3 days on-site in Houston. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years in OT/IT infrastructure across real estate, construction, or multi-site environments.
• 5+ years converging disparate networks across vendors and owners.
• Demonstrable hands-on AI use to drive efficiency.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration.
• Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, CWNA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own design, standards, and governance for networking, cybersecurity, and connected systems.
• Set portfolio-wide connectivity standards for fiber, Wi‑Fi, and segmentation.
• Coordinate with construction teams, GCs, and vendors to implement specs.
