Job summary

Small Potato Trucking is seeking a driver for a semi-local lane. Expect around 1,700 miles weekly across CO, KS, UT, WY, NE, SD, and NM, with start times 03:00–06:00 and a 12-hour day schedule, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and a clean driving record. You must be physically fit to move mattresses and willing to chain loads in adverse weather. Orientation is paid, and benefits apply after hire.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.
• 21+ years old minimum and must pass a drug test.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations in the last 3 years.
• Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record.
• Drug-free status required; SAP candidates are NOT accepted.

Responsibilities

• Drive semi local lane averaging 1,700 miles per week across CO, KS, UT, WY, NE, SD and NM.
• Start shifts between 03:00–06:00 with 12-hour days, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends).
• Move mattresses and secure loads; chain as weather dictates.
• Maintain safety, comply with DOT regulations, and uphold company standards.

$90,000.00 per year, that's $0.70- $0.74 cpm

1,700 miles per week on average

Lane runs CO, KS, UT, WY, NE, SD and NM

Work week Monday to Friday with an occasional Saturday or Sunday

Starting 03:00 – 06:00 with 12 hours work day

Drivers MUST be physically fit to move mattresses

Drivers MUST be willing and able to chain as weather dictates

Qualifications:

Must have personal transportation and pass a drug test

21 years old minimum, valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.

Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record

Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations within the last 3 years, this will be checked

Drug-free status required, SAP candidates are NOT accepted

Paid orientation - upon completion and hired.
