Job summary

Concord Church in Dallas, TX seeks a High-Capacity Small Group Director to provide strategic leadership, operational excellence, and people development across all Small Groups. You will build scalable systems, lead diverse ministry teams, and align programs with the church’s vision for growth and discipleship.

The role requires a self-driven, structured, analytical thinker who can manage multiple moving parts, coach leaders, and measure impact using data-driven dashboards.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, implement, and continually enhance the overall Small Group strategy aligned with church vision and discipleship goals.
• Direct Grow Strategy Team through planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up.
• Develop annual ministry goals, metrics, and quarterly action plans.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, coaching, performance management, and development planning with Ministry Leaders (Men’s, Young Adult, Family Life) and coordinators.
• Build a healthy, accountable, high-performing team culture.
• Lead training and facilitate connection for Small Group leaders and coaches.
• Oversee systems, workflows, resources and ministry processes for excellence and scalability.
• Manage Cross-Functional Teams for Small Group events, launches, campaigns, and programming.
• Drive internal marketing/communication strategies to boost Small Group awareness and participation.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and seasonal initiatives.
• Support members with placement questions and conflict resolution.
• Produce dashboards on Small Group health, participation, retention and growth.
