Job summary

Power Wellness is seeking a Small Group Training Coach for Delnor Health & Fitness Center in Geneva, IL. This part‑time role focuses on providing coaching and instruction for Small Group Training Sessions, delivering high‑quality programming and customer service to members and guests, and developing marketing efforts to grow training services within the center and community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong sales, marketing, writing and presentation skills required.
• At least 1 year experience as a personal trainer or small group training.
• Nationally recognized NCCA accredited certification required.
• CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Review Health History Questionnaires and physician approvals.
• Instruct individual, partner and small group training sessions for varying fitness levels.
• Teach group exercise classes to drive engagement.
• Design training programs considering medical history and goals.
• Coordinate with management for retention programs and program development.
