Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking a Construction Laborer/Small Equipment Operator in Belle Chasse, LA to support a land mitigation project. The role involves removal and re-lining of the retention pond, plus rough grading and outdoor tasks on-site.

The start date is 9/8/26 for a 20-week period, pay rate is $28/hr with a $170 per diem (paid weekly) and mileage reimbursements of $0.65/mile. Hazwoper 40 & OSHA 10 training is required and paid, with pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Hazwoper 40 & OSHA 10 online training before starting the project (training time paid).
• 6 months' Laborer/Small Equipment Operator experience.
• 1 year experience running skidsteer-type equipment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with land mitigation, removal and re-lining of the retention pond.
• Perform rough grading and exterior work as needed on site.
• Work on project for approx. 20 weeks starting 9/8/26.

• Must have at least 6 months' of Laborer/Small Equipment Operator experience and at least 1 year experience running Skidsteer-type equipment.
