Job summary

Michels Corporation in Brownsville, TN is seeking a qualified Small Equipment Mechanic to repair and service a range of agriculture and construction equipment. You will diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues and perform preventative maintenance on items from handheld tools to large generators.

You should have 0-3 years of hands-on mechanical repair experience, the ability to read and write, basic math, and be comfortable using basic computer tools. You must provide your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years experience in mechanical repair on a variety of agriculture/construction equipment.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Basic computer proficiency (desired)
• Completion of diesel mechanic or industrial technical program (desired)

As a Small Equipment Mechanic, your key responsibilities will be to perform mechanical repairs on small equipment, diagnosing hydraulic and electrical problems; and perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as chainsaws and weed whips all the way up to a UTV and large generators.
