Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking a Small Equipment Mechanic to perform mechanical repairs on small equipment, diagnose hydraulic and electrical problems, and run preventative maintenance on equipment from chainsaws to large generators. This role supports our construction and infrastructure projects across our Wisconsin operations.

As a Small Equipment Mechanic, your key responsibilities will be to perform mechanical repairs on small equipment, diagnosing hydraulic and electrical problems; and perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as chainsaws and weed whips all the way up to a UTV and large generators.

What it takes:

• Ability to provide own hand tools
• 0-3 years experience in mechanical repair on a variety of agriculture/construction equipment
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math
• Basic computer proficiency (desired)
• Completion of diesel mechanic or industrial technical program (desired)
