Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking Repair and Tool Technicians to evaluate and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices. You will recommend equipment and ensure units are maintained, servicing customers in Tool Rental Centers and repair centers.

In-store duties include writing customer contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs, verifying proper operation of tools, and demonstrating usage when needed.

Qualifications

• Repairs and maintenance of small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair small engines and outdoor power equipment in-store and in repair centers.
• Provide service to Tool Rental customers, including writing contracts and invoices for rentals and repairs; verify equipment operation and demonstrate proper use as needed.
• In non-store locations, ensure repairs are tested, cleaned and returned to the originating store.
