Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience with gasoline or diesel engines, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to read manuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on gasoline and diesel small engines.
• Ability to read and analyze documents and procedure manuals.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair small engine equipment such as Toro, Ventrac, Exmark, Scag, and Stihl.
• Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes and fluid checks on diverse equipment.
• Maintain technical knowledge on various equipment lines and parts.
• Keep finished products clean and organized.
• Collaborate with Service Writer to order parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate repair records and work orders, inventory and tagging for warranty.
• Keep tools, work area and shop in good condition and safe.
• Maintain a clean, safe service area following all regulations.

Position Overview:

Service repair technicians are responsible for the care and maintenance of small engine law care equipment. They play a critical role in upholding our reputation for exceeding our customers’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing small engine equipment such as Toro, Ventrac, Exmark, Scag, and Stihl
• Perform scheduled maintenance, including oil change, hydraulic fluid and all necessary filters and fluids in a variety of agricultural equipment
• Maintain technical and product knowledge on various equipment lines
• Responsible for the cleanliness of finished products
• Works with the Service Writer to order parts as needed
• Responsible for maintaining accurate records for repairs, service work orders, inventory and tagging and identifying parts for warranty
• Responsible for maintaining personal tools, work area, shop and shop tools
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service area, following all safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications from STIHL, Kohler, Toro, Exmark, Briggs and Stratton
