Purpose

Performs diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on turf equipment, with guidance from supervisors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on turf equipment
• Participates in training programs
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitors
• Maintains condition of tools, vehicles, and inventory
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment
• Follows safety rules and completes reports
• Accounts for time and materials used
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in service repairs on lawn & garden equipment
• Ability to perform repairs using tools and manuals
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems
• Proficiency with Service Advisor and basic computer skills
• Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly
• Basic Service Technician certification preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Forklift license preferred
