Job description

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Fleet Mechanic to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

The Fleet Mechanic will perform maintenance on our delivery fleet, trailers, and forklifts.

Duties include:

1. Monitoring and documenting all phases of vehicle maintenance.
2. Preventative maintenance and servicing of fleet vehicles at scheduled intervals.
3. Documenting PM reports & repair logs.
4. Hydraulic and engine repairs.

This is a full-time position with overtime. During peak season, hours are 5:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday hours from 5:00-10:30 am. Hours may vary during off-peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing gas/diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Welding, torching, and small fabrication skills are a plus.
• At least 1 year of mechanic experience.
• Experience repairing truck brake systems (hydraulic and air) and electrical systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs when necessary.
• Own tools required.
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
