Job summary

Timberline Communications is seeking motivated individuals for installation of cable and antenna systems on light poles, telephone poles, and other structures in New England. The role requires physical ability to work in heights and the capacity to lift heavy weights. Candidates should have experience installing wireless communication systems, a valid driver's license, and a DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and DOT medical card required.
• Must have experience operating a bucket truck.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Mount and set azimuth of antennas.
• Install connectors from all manufacturers.
• Install DC power and fiber optic cables.
• Provide end-of-day updates on progress.
• Operate and maintain a bucket truck safely.

Skills

Experience installing, terminating, and testing wireless communication sites.

Mechanical or electrical experience

Knowledge of grounding specifications

Self-motivated and independent work

Job description

Timberline Communication is looking for motivated individuals with experience installing cable and antenna systems on existing and new light poles, telephone poles and other structures throughout New England. Based out of our Canton, MA headquarters or Merrimack, NH.

Your Work That Keeps Us Connected (Job Responsibilities)

• Antenna mounting and setting azimuth
• Connector installation by all manufacturers
• Installation of DC power and fiber optic cables
• End of Day updates outlining progress
• Operate a bucket truck in a safe manner
• Ensure the bucket truck is cleaned and maintained

Signal Strength (Qualifications)

• Experience installing, terminating, and testing all aspects of a wireless communication site.
• Any mechanical or electrical experience is a bonus
• Knowledge of grounding specifications
• All potential hires must have a current valid driver's license and a DOT medical card.
• All candidates must have all the required hand tools to perform job.
• Must be self-motivated and work independently.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions

• Must be able to work in a bucket up to a height of 50ft.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
