Job summary

A telecommunications company based in Canton, MA is seeking motivated individuals to install cable and antenna systems on light and telephone poles across New England. Responsibilities include installing connectors, power and fiber optic cables, and operating a bucket truck. Candidates should be self-motivated with experience in wireless communication sites and must have a valid driver's license and necessary hand tools. Strong physical ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads is required.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, terminating, and testing aspects of a wireless communication site.
• Must have a valid driver's license and DOT medical card.
• Previous experience operating a bucket truck is a bonus.
• Current valid driver's license and a DOT medical card required
• All candidates must have the required hand tools to perform the job
• Must be self-motivated and work independently

Responsibilities

• Mount and set azimuth for antennas.
• Install connectors by various manufacturers.
• Install DC power and fiber optic cables.
• Provide daily updates on progress.
• Operate a bucket truck safely and maintain it.
• Maintain and clean bucket truck

Job description

Timberline Communication is looking for motivated individuals with experience installing cable and antenna systems on existing and new light poles, telephone poles and other structures throughout New England. Based out of our Canton, MA headquarters or Merrimack, NH.

Your Work that Keeps us Connected (Job Responsibilities)

• Antenna mounting and setting azimuth
• Connector installation by all manufacturers
• Installation of DC power and fiber optic cables
• End of Day updates outlining progress
• Operate a bucket truck in a safe manner
• Ensure the bucket truck is cleaned and maintained

Signal Strength (Qualifications)

• Experience installing, terminating, and testing all aspects of a wireless communication site.
• Any mechanical or electrical experience is a bonus
• Knowledge of grounding specifications
• All potential hires must have a current valid driver's license and a DOT medical card.
• All candidates must have all the required hand tools to perform job.
• Must be self-motivated and work independently.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

• Must be able to work in a bucket up to a height of 50ft.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
