Job summary

The New Mexico Mutual is seeking a Small Business Unit Underwriter/Analyst to evaluate and price workers' compensation accounts within authority. You will use predictive analytics and automation tools to improve profitability and service across a defined agency territory, while developing strong agency relationships.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in business and at least 2 years of P&C underwriting experience, with excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Minimum 2 years P&C underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation preferred.
• Strong writing and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate accounts to determine risk within authority.
• Set pricing and terms in line with regulations.
