Job summary

EagleBank is seeking a Business Banking Portfolio Manager in Bethesda, MD to underwrite new loans, renewals and modifications while partnering with Relationship Managers and clients throughout the lending process.

The role analyzes financial information, manages the loan pipeline, reviews documentation, and supports timely loan closings with a strong credit culture and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of commercial credit analysis or portfolio management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial loan documentation and underwriting.
• Strong verbal and written communication; solid customer service.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new loan requests, renewals and modifications.
• Manage active loan pipeline and coordinate with Relationship Managers.
• Review loan documentation and ensure timely closings and portfolio maintenance.
• Present loan requests to approving parties after underwriting.
• Monitor portfolio for signs of credit deterioration and collect needed financial information.
