Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Small Business Lending Consultant to handle loan applications for Community Lending customers in Columbus, Ohio.

You will work onsite at our Easton office, guiding customers through the lending process and coordinating with branches and underwriters. Responsibilities include collecting applications for loans up to multiple thresholds, communicating with customers and partners, and using Elite Digital Lobby tools to transfer documents.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales in financial services or credit environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; strong teamwork abilities.

• Field new opportunities via internal, inbound phone calls.
• Leverage Elite Digital Lobby technology to communicate and transfer documents to and from customer.
• Partner with and support Branch colleagues and business lending customer through initial real-time engagement via application credit decision.
• Hand off the credit approved and customer accepted applications to Business Lending Client Specialist for back-end sales support.

Small Business Lending Consultants ensure a Category of One experience for all customers in providing lending solutions and taking business loan applications for Community Lending customers up to 5MM Revenue,500M Loan Amount, and 1MM Aggregate Exposure, generally.

Summary

• Communicates with customer, branch partner, underwriter to submit application and obtain credit decision.


• Fields new opportunities via internal, inbound phone calls


• Leverages Elite Digital Lobby technology to communicate and transfer documents to and from customer.


• Partners with and supports Branch colleagues and business lending customer via initial real-time engagement through application credit decision.


• Hands off the credit approved, and customer accepted applications to Business Lending Client Specialist for back-end sales support.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED


• Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales in financial services or credit environment

• Business Banking sales/lending experience


• Business lending product knowledge


• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and critical thinking skills


• Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face, phone, and chat) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor

• PC and internet proficiency


• Experience with Salesforce MAX, ESS, AFS Vision, Velocity, Microsoft Office Suite
