State of Georgia is seeking a Program Specialist to coordinate and support initiatives that help entrepreneurs and small businesses achieve growth, compliance, and long-term success. You will promote Georgia Access for Business (GAFB) and build community relationships through outreach, training, and resource development.

The role involves delivering workshops and webinars, collaborating with agency teams, tracking program metrics, and representing the agency at events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and one year of experience required at the lower level Prgm Consultant 1 (GSP090) or any other combination of education and professional experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support initiatives designed to assist entrepreneurs and small businesses in growth, compliance, and long-term success.
• Promote Georgia Access for Business (GAFB) and build relationships within the community.
• Develop and deliver educational workshops, webinars, and informational materials.
• Collaborate with internal units and agency departments to coordinate resources and services.
• Track program participation, outcomes, and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Attend regional outreach events, including in-person sessions, employer meetings, and agent training.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and success stories highlighting program impact and participant achievements.
